You can go to school for years. Get your degree(s), become a doctor, become an expert. But there is a huge difference between knowing that you know what you’re talking about, and just knowing because you answered questions to pass a test.
When faced with situations that indicate which of those people you are, it is extremely eye-opening. And can force you into a spiral of doubt and panic if you fall into the latter category.
Take chiropractors, for example. Many aren’t certain of what they do. They know that what they do works, but they don’t know why. And once they figure out that “why”, that’s when they become unstoppable.
That’s when life becomes more simple – they’re not nervous anymore. They’re extremely confident in their practice, because not only do they know that the service they are providing to patients works, they know WHY it works!
